The Memphis Grizzlies are interested in adding an Iranian player to their team.
Memphis Coach, Marc Lavaroni, will be meeting with Hamed Haddadi - the Iranian Basketball Team’s sizely center - during their time in Beijing, China at the 2008 Summer Olympic Games, to discuss Haddadi’s possible future placement on the Grizzlies’ team roster.
How exciting!
PS. Love the tattoos the team’s been sporting. Très baa-haal.

They should take #14, he was the one hustling on the court, but at least it is a start.

I think he would be the first Iranian player in the NBA. I hope the Grizzlies sign him. I wish him luck and hope he has a long career in the NBA if he does actually come to the NBA.
